How does Xylaktas work?
When you start taking Xylaktas, you take two tablets (at the same time) a day for two days. This builds up the right amount of lactose digesting bacterial culture in the gut. From the third day you take one to two tablets a day and take regular milk products. For most (95% +), only one tablet a day is needed, regardless of the amount of milk products consumed.
If you have a fast metabolism you might need to take on in the morning and one in the afternoon. The bacterial culture activates in the small intestine and breaks down large amounts of lactose from everything you eat and drink all day!
Pregnant or breastfeeding?
Xylaktas bacterial culture stays within the digestive system, nothing is transmitted to the baby or via breast milk. Please note the allergy warnings and ingredient list.
